Biography

 

I specialize in mediation, facilitation, workplace assessments, workplace restoration and workplace investigations in employment, workplace, negotiation and labour matters. I am a Chartered Mediator and Registered Nurse with expertise in healthcare labour, nursing issues, and senior leadership/corporate governance.

Accomplished senior executive and healthcare professional who led a customer-centric trade union with a membership of over 68,000 healthcare professionals, and almost 300 unionized staff with a budget of approximately $100 million.  The role of the CEO included Secretary to the elected Board of Directors and complete oversight and execution of day-to-day operations, financials, and technologies.  The role included acting as a representative Trustee on a large Pension Plan Board of Directors.

Strategist and Change Agent who ensured ONA developed its first Strategic Plan during the worst healthcare crisis (COVID pandemic) while ensuring leadership and vision with stakeholders to protect and advocate for frontline healthcare professionals.

Experienced Mediator, Negotiator, Facilitator, Workplace Investigator, Workplace Assessor and Workplace Restoration expert with more than 30 years of experience in labour relations environments working in various capacities as neutral, union or management representative.
